Exploring New Waters
Indies Greens has expanded its conservation efforts beyond traditional agriculture to one of Antigua and Barbuda's most important assets, coral reefs. In 2021, Indies Greens introduced its first marine display system to showcase both Pacific and Atlantic species of fish and corals. It now stands as one of the only inland marine displays on the island and is intended to expose the public to the beauty and significance of coral reefs.
Looking ahead...
Indies Greens plans to convert over 25% of its current infrastructure to be dedicated for marine conservation and research. Furthermore, Indies Greens plans to actively collaborate with and support local environmental groups in an effort to further environmental conservation in Antigua and Barbuda.
